SATURDAY 2 MAY FROM 2.00 PM TO 1.00 AM
CASA DELLE TERRE FORTE
The moment we've all been waiting for (or at least Emma's been patiently waiting for).. THE WEDDING!
As we appreciate not everyone will be able to fly out on the Friday, we've decided to give ourselves a later start on the Saturday to accommodate any Saturday early morning travellers, as well as those that are likely to burn in the midday sun!
TIMELINE
As such, we ask that you please arrive at Casa delle Terre Forti for 2.00 pm, where refreshments will be served to keep you all hydrated.
The Ceremony will take place at 3.00 pm (which I've been told is the most important part) - so please make sure you're there in plenty of time!
Further refreshments and light bites will be served at the Wedding Reception, around 3.30 pm.
Don't fill up too much though, as the Wedding Breakfast will be shortly after and you'll need to have room for all the courses!
Be sure to bring a change of shoes, as you'll be invited to the dance floor to boogie the night away. For those of you who might not want to dance, make sure you bring an outfit change of a swimsuit or swimming trunks instead!
Whilst we've forecast sunny spells with a light tropical breeze (~24°C), it does get cold in the evening (~13°C) so we'd recommend you bring a couple of layers for later on.

SUNDAY 3 MAY (TIMINGS TO FOLLOW)
SYRACUSE
The reason we chose a bank holiday weekend for our wedding was so we could extend the celebration to the following day too! The plan for the Sunday is a surprise for now, but stay posted as we'll share details at a later date...
All we can share for now is that the surprise will be in Syracuse, a beautiful fishing village on the South-eastern peninsular of Sicily. It's easy enough to get to via train (1hr 15m) or by car (45m) from Catania.
It's bound to be hot, so make sure you bring your swimmers to take a refreshing dip in the ocean!
PS. This is completely optional, so if you'd rather spend your bank holiday weekend exploring Catania please do, but just make sure you let us know via the RSVP in advance please!
