There are 2 main airports in Sicily:
1) Catania Airport (CTA) - the best option is to fly into Catania, situated on the East side of the island. It's a 10 minute taxi / train to get to the City of Catania.
2) Palermo Airport (PMO) - the alternative option is to fly into Palermo, which is located on the Northwest side of the island. It's a 2.5 / 3 hour car journey to Catania, so if you'd like the scenic route then this is the option for you!
The wedding venue is Casa delle Terre Forti, which is a 30 minute car / taxi from Catania Old Town.

Wedding venue
If you're in a group, we highly recommend that you hire a car so you can explore all that Catania has to offer. The venue also has parking if you have a designated driver for the group!
Taxis / Ubers are easily accessible throughout the city and along the coast, but they are NOT cheap so we recommend you travel in a group (if possible).
There is a train that'll take you from the airport to and from Catania, as well as all along the East coast of Sicily. However, you will still need to get a car / taxi to get to the wedding destination.
Ubers can be difficult to order in the evenings, as they tend to stay closer to Catania Centre. We would recommend that you pre-book a taxi for around 1:00am on Sunday 3rd May. We've used the below taxi services on our previous visits:
